My name is Mike Baer and I am the owner of Baer Remodeling. In 2008, I started this business because I wanted to offer Wheaton and the surrounding towns a remodeling company with a more personal touch. I believe in doing the job right and making the customer happy. I pride myself in working with customers on every level, every step of the way to make sure that the remodeling experience is a positive one. When a family decides to make major changes to their living space, they know that their lives are going to be a little hectic for a while. I try to make this process as quick and painless as possible by keeping a clean work area, getting necessities (toilets, electric, water, etc.) back up and running in a timely manner, and working around the homeowner's schedule.
I strive to be a man of integrity in everything that I do. That includes my prices. I have worked in this field for 17 years and know what it takes to get a job done. I try to include everything down to the smallest of supplies and try to anticipate any extra costs that might come up along the way so there are no surprises when the customer receives their bill at the end of a project. When the work is finished, I know that the customer has gotten what they expected at the price they expected.
In the field of residential remodeling, trust in your contractor must go beyond the general contractor himself. I have spent a lot of time finding reliable and trustworthy subcontractors to work under me. These men are a reflection on me and my business.
